My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing due to the noise from a wedding reception above my room, which was not disclosed during booking. Despite this, the location near downtown restaurants was convenient, and the staff were eager to help. Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by poor management in response to my complaints about the noise.

Rooms

The room layout was decent, featuring two bathrooms and a kitchenette that had all the essentials for meal prep, though it could really use blackout curtains.
Service

Service was frustrating; the management was rude and didn’t seem willing to address my concerns properly.

The hotel’s location was nice for accessing downtown, but having to drive everywhere made it less convenient.

Facilities felt dated, and the pool and restaurant were both closed during my stay, which didn't add value given the resort fee.

My stay at the Crag's Lodge was quite memorable. The beautiful surroundings of Estes Park and stunning mountain views made it a perfect getaway. The room was comfortable, though a bit dated, and the outdoor amenities provided a relaxing atmosphere. However, the restaurant reservation process was frustrating and left a lot to be desired. Overall, it’s a great place for those looking to enjoy nature with some charming historic character, but there are areas needing improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The room was cozy and had a kitchenette and small sitting area, making it comfortable for our stay. However, it felt a bit dated and lacked sufficient bathroom counter space.
Service

While some staff members were friendly and offered helpful tips, I did experience some issues with communication regarding the restaurant, which left me feeling frustrated.

The location was outstanding, tucked away in the beautiful mountains and close to Rocky Mountain National Park, making it a convenient spot for outdoor lovers.
Dining

Dining was convenient but lacked availability, as we were unable to secure a table despite seeing empty spots. The food we eventually had was quite good, but the reservation process was unclear.

I had an amazing stay at the Crags Lodge! The cozy two-room suite was perfect for my needs with a stunning view of the mountains. The service was outstanding, particularly during my son’s wedding, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. However, I found the resort fee a bit bothersome given the limited amenities available during my visit, and some noise from the pipes was disruptive at night.

The location was fantastic, just a short drive from Estes Park and perfectly situated for exploring the Rocky Mountains. The views from the lodge were simply stunning.
Dining

While the food for the wedding reception was excellent, I did miss having breakfast options available at the lodge during my stay.
Facilities

The lodge had good facilities, but I felt the resort fee was not entirely justified due to limited amenities like the closed restaurant and game room.

The Crags offers a unique experience with its historic charm and stunning views. The staff at the bar were exceptional, providing a welcoming atmosphere, while the overall service left something to be desired due to a confusing situation regarding dining options. The rooms, while clean, felt a bit small and lacked air conditioning, making them less comfortable at times. Overall, it’s a good place for a brief stay, but not without its quirks.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and cute, but a bit small and cramped, especially when moving between the bedroom and bathroom.
Service

Service was inconsistent; while the bar staff were amazing, the front desk could have been more informative and friendly.

I had a nice stay at this lodge, which offered a cozy atmosphere and well-equipped kitchenette. Although the room was a bit small, it kept warm during the chilly winter nights. The lodge's tucked-away location provided a peaceful retreat, but some facilities felt a bit outdated, and I encountered a few inconveniences during my visit that detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
The studio room was cozy but quite small, making it a tight fit for two people. It included a full kitchenette, which was well-stocked and handy.
Service
6.0
Service was decent, but I had trouble booking a table at the restaurant. Communication could have been better, especially regarding dining reservations.
Location
8.0
The lodge's location was wonderfully quiet, set away from the main road but close enough for a short walk into town. It was perfect for accessing hiking trails in the area.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were limited, and I was disappointed not to have breakfast available at the hotel, but the restaurant had good food for dinner.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were a bit aged but included some nice extras like a pool table and a cozy lobby fireplace to relax by.
